Brian Briscoe

I am a senior communications leader with more than 30 years of experience in the public relations industry and 10 years in the media. My focus has been on developing creative public relations and communications plans, managing crisis communications, and fostering brand/community relations.

Over three decades in the PR industry, I have developed strong relationships with local, regional, and national media contacts and corporate constituents. Having worked as a media journalist prior to my public relations career, I can offer a keen perspective and insight to communications for clients. Building strong personal relationships in media sectors and within the public relations industry has been, and continues to be, a strength of my approach to serving clients in a one-on-one style.

I founded Briscoe Communications in 2017 to provide public relations services for a wide ranging client category. Prior to establishing my PR firm, I served in senior public relations leadership roles with Brown Books Publishing Group, Tucker & Associates Public Relations, Texas Motor Speedway, Lone Star Conference, University of North Texas Athletics, Southern Methodist University Athletics, and the Dallas Sidekicks Soccer Club.

My extensive experience also includes serving as a sports producer, reporter, and anchor in the cable television industry and at KRLD radio in Dallas. Additionally, I have assisted the United States Olympic Committee in the capacity of press officer at national and international competitions.

I am a proud graduate of the University of North Texas (1978).  Member of Denton Chamber of Commerce and Public Relations Society Dallas Chapter.

  Briscoe Communications was created to serve the public relations, branding, and marketing needs of small to mid-size companies, primarily in the Denton/Dallas/Fort Worth area.  With deep roots in the north Texas public relations industry and  with strong media contacts, we are able to deliver successful branding for clients.

We capitalize on close working relationships with colleagues in public relations, photography, videography, broadcasting, and digital industries to create deliverables that elevate the brand of our clients.  We are connected to media journalists, producers, assignment editors, and photographers/videographers in the local, regional, and national markets.

Thanks to my brother, Mike Briscoe and his  company, Classic Roof Sytems,  for being our first client!
